VLBS combines elements of mutual self-help, community service, voluntary social safety nets, information and idea sharing, based on vegan and libertarian values and ethics. We seek inspiration from the old friendly societies.
Our libertarianism is neither left nor right. It is propertarian, and basically of the modern libertarian model. It is not mutualist, Georgist, or left-libertarian. (See http://www.fff.org)
Our mid-term goal is to own a community center with a kitchen, dining area, lounge, library and grounds, where the homeless, or anyone else, may come to eat, rest and explore.
We do not push any religion or ideology on anyone, but we support anyone who seeks to “Know Thyself” and peacefully pursue their own well-being.
